Naseeruddin Shah has been a part of the Indian film industry for almost five decades.
Recently, the actor was all over the news after he made a statement about those celebrating the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan. Talking about the same, he added that using the word ‘celebrate’ was perhaps inappropriate.
On those who were offended by his comments, Shah said, “There is an atmosphere of bottled hate just waiting to be released. People are waiting to take offence to anything. If they had heard my statement, they would have realised there is nothing to get their knickers in a twist about.”
